DJ, model and ex-girlfriend of Romeo Beckham, Kim Turnbull, has spoken out, amid the continued speculation surrounding the Beckhams – namely, her alleged involvement with not one, but two Beckham brothers.

After dating for just shy of a year, Kim Turnbull and Romeo Beckham reportedly parted ways in early June.

Despite the ex-couple managing to retain a relative level of privacy throughout their relationship, they’d still been subject to a slew of salacious headlines that claimed Turnbull had previously dated Brooklyn in high school.

The level of extreme insistence upon rumour as fact became an ongoing source of tabloid fodder. So much so, that the alleged fling between Brooklyn and Kim was held up as yet another piece in the ongoing Beckham Family Feud puzzle.

Regardless of whether the rumours were true or not, it’s beyond ridiculous to suggest that a date in high school would be enough to warrant a rift so (allegedly) deep, that even Britain’s favourite family couldn’t overcome it?

So when Kim Turnbull herself decided to excuse herself from the neverending narrative, it wasn’t entirely surprising.

Posting a statement to her stories on June 16, Turnbull called out the media for perpetuating such falsehoods, calling for an end to speculation by shutting down any suggestion that she dated Romeo’s older brother, Brooklyn, at all.

“I’ve avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it’s come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on. I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative,” she wrote.

“I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16,” she continued.

Turnbull said she’d felt compelled to respond “for the sake of everyone involved,” and closed out her statement by explaining her wish to be excluded from “the ongoing conversation.”

While the alleged source of tension in the surrounding saga – Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz – are yet to comment, young Romeo popped his own two cents in the chat shortly after Turnbull’s went live.

Posting a film still of Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday uttering the famous line: “What the world needs is a return to sweetness and decency,” Romeo captioned the story with his own call for peace, writing: “Be nice to people and don’t tell uncessasary lies (kissy face emoji)” And we couldn’t agree more.
