Congratulations are in order for Kristen Stewart and her long-time love, Dylan Meyer, after the pair married in lowkey wedding ceremony on Easter Sunday.
The nuptials took place three years after screenwriter Meyer “knocked it out of the park” with her sweet proposal, and nearly six years after the pair first went Instagram official.

Who Is Dylan Meyer?
Dylan Meyer is a screenwriter and fellow actress whose credits include films such as Loose Ends (2015), XOXO (2016) and most recently, Amy Poehler’s 2021 film, Moxie.
As the daughter of Oscar-nominated screenwriter Nicholas Meyer, the industry veteran grew up around sets and stages, but has also worked in front of the camera on a number of shorts and series’ – including an episode of Homemade, where she appeared alongside her now-wife, Kristen Stewart.
How Did Kristen Stewart Meet Dylan?
While the pair first met in 2013 on a film set, their official connection wasn’t discovered until many years later.
Sharing the details of their meet-cute on The Howard Stern Show in November 2019, Stewart spoke about the couple reuniting by chance.
“I met her years ago on a movie and I hadn’t seen her in six years, and then she rocked up at a friend’s birthday party, and I was like, ‘Where have you been, and how have I not known you?’ She’s been living in L.A. alongside my life somehow but not ever converging,” she said.
As fate would have it, not only was the spark well and truly lit the second time around, but it remained strong from that day on. “We’re both from L.A. and we really love L.A.,” Stewart continued. “We both felt like trolls as kids. We’re like so similar but different. She’s a writer. She’s brilliant.”
The couple started dating in 2019, after going Instagram official with a post in October of that year. Captioned “Find me under the covers hiding from the happiness police,” Meyer’s post featured a black and white photobooth snap of the pair kissing.
Following the initial post, it was full steam ahead, with both Stewart and Meyer openly sharing their love for one another in interviews, posts and public displays of affection that cemented their love story as one for the ages.
In one birthday tribute to her actress beau, Meyer beamed “It’s my absolute favourite person’s birthday, and I’m wishing everyone the volume of beautiful feeling I feel toward her. Did Kristen Stewart Propose To Dylan Meyer?
Things went from good to great pretty fast for Kristen Stewart and her now-wife Dylan Meyer, with the actress revealing her plans to propose mere months into their budding relationship.
“The first time I told her I love her it was really late and we were in some shitty bar, and her friends were there or whatever and they walked out, and I was just like, ‘Oh, man, I’m so f—ing in love with you.’ Like, done,” she told Stern before admitting she’d already thought about the future.
“I wanna be somewhat reasonable about it, but I think good things happen fast,” she told the host, before admitting it was top of mind. “I have a couple plans that are just the coolest things to do that I don’t think … I think it’s pretty undeniable.”
Despite Stewart’s initial enthusiasm, when the proposal finally came, it didn’t work out exactly as she’d thought it would. Confirming her engagement with Jimmy Fallon in November 2021, Stewart told the host that her fiancée “knocked it out of the park.”
“We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it,” Stewart told Stern during a later interview. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted, and she nailed it. We’re marrying, it’s happening.”

Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer celebrated their love in an intimate wedding ceremony on April 20, 2025 after six years together.
“I want it to be pretty chill. I don’t want anyone walking anyone down any aisles. We’re just going to, like, stand and do vows and f—— party after,” said Stewart in a 2021 interview. “It’s kind of just a great excuse to get together and say ‘I love you’ in front of all your friends.” And so they did.
The pair kept things casual, tying the knot at a local Mexican restaurant in L.A, where they said “I do” in front of a group of close friends and family – including Ashley Benson and her husband, Brandon Davis.
