Dua Lipa & Callum Turner’s Red Carpet Debut At The Met Gala Was Perfection

In line with the 'Tailored for You' theme, the couple were the perfect fit

Fresh from her juggernaut Radical Optimism global tour, Dua Lipa hit the 2025 Met Gala red carpet wearing custom Chanel alongside her fiancé Callum Turner. This is the first time Lipa and Turner have made a red carpet-appearance together since their engagement last year.

Lipa has been a friend of the Chanel house for several years and this is her second time collaborating on her Met Gala look.

In 2023, the singer wore an archival Chanel haute couture gown from autumn/winter 1992, originally worn by Claudia Schiffer, which she chose to honour Karl Lagerfeld. She is also the face of the House’s new Chanel 25 handbag campaign.

This year’s Met Gala theme is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and the dress code is “Tailored for You.” Lipa certainly delivered a look that perfectly executed the dress code with a nod to timeless Chanel elegance.

The gown leant into a vintage-inspired moment, featuring a V-neck gown with a sheer midriff, a feathered mini skirt sat beneath a black chiffon overskirt, and an open back with a long bow. The creation took 2,000 hours to make and features 45,000 embroidered elements, including crystals, pearls, and feathers.

The look was complete with a black sequin tweed overcoat embellished with tiny silver crystals and an organza cape and accessorised with sheer gloves and Tiffany & Co. jewellery.

At the 2023 Met Gala, Lipa channelled the perfect Chanel bride.

For her hair, the singer ditched her usual undone tresses and instead opted for a slicked and sculptural bun complete with glossy black curls across her forehead. Lipa stuck to her signature bronzy blush, black eyeliner, and a nude-pink lip for her glam. However, she added subtle drama with two tiny silver sparkles underneath her eyes.

As for Turner, he stood by his partner’s side wearing custom Louis Vuitton as they ascended the Met steps.
